A semi-complete history of Illumination Island.

k, so, like...

It all started in... uh... *finger-count* 1981, I believe.

There were these two 14 year olds from the U.S.A. There was a boy named Jack Pendragon, and a girl named Mira Young. They were hanging around a soda bar one day, sitting at the window table, when they saw this weird, pretty big rabbit thing sprint past the window.

"Dude... what was that..." said Jack.

"Well, beats me... -_-" said Mira. Jack got up and walked outside, tossing his empty root beer bottle in the trash can. He spotted it up the street someways, when it made a sharp turn into an alleyway. So, he chased it.

"Oy, wait up!!" called Mira, running after him.

He then looked up the alley, but there was nothing there. "Huh? ... " So, he walked down the alleyway, then suddenly disappeared.

Then, Mira caught up. "Jack? JAAAAAAAA-AAAAAAAAACK!!! WHERE ARE YOUUUUUUUU!!!" she called in a sing-song voice. "D'You go this way?" She ran up the alley, also disappearing...

Oooh, how exciting! 8D

"There you a--" said Mira. She was cut off by the sight in front of her. The sight was of pure golden sands lapped by a turquoise ocean. Pale jade fronds extending far beyond amber trees. Above all, a dark gray wall of stone in the west overgrown with dark viridian vines of ivy. The stone extended in a horizontal arc coming southward. Mira reached behind her, and felt it. "Wha..." She spun around. "HEY!!!" There was nowhere they could have come from. She started hitting the impenetrable wall.

"This... is... amazing..." said Jack.

"HELLOOOO!? NO WAY OUT?!"

"So? ..."

"... eww, you weirdo. Whatever." She kept hitting the wall, moving along it. "Gotta be somewhere here..."

*reads* =D
